Block Paving – Driveway Project
We started off this project by digging out the existing tarmac driveway to the depth of 18 inches. We needed to build this up using type 1hard-core which would then create the foundations for the driveway.
We poured concrete around the whole driveway then laid a membrane weed control, which would prevent any weeds and moss from coming through the driveway in the future. We used a charcoal trombone edge all the way around the borders and Autumn Gold in the middle in a 45° herringbone block paving pattern.
On the left side we used a nice S-bend to add a bit of character to the completed driveway with a Baltimores curb edge to separate the lawn from the driveway.
Our clients were extremely happy with the finished results.
